After taking the quiz, I scored a 1 out of 10 which was shocking to me. I thought I had more knowledge regarding technology than I actually do. I am eager to learn new technology based ideas from 21 Things but I am also very overwhelmed looking at the activities that I need to complete.
It seems that everything I am going to learn in this class is going to be "something new" fpr me. Something as simple as arranging two windows side by side was new to me. New in the sense that it could be dragged and replaced in perfect alignment. Prior to learning this I would minimize the two windows to get them side by side.
I modeled how to take a screen shot with Michele Macius and with my students a few days after I learned how to take a screen shot. It's one thing to learn these skills on my own but applying them and reteaching them (to my students) helps to imbed the activity into my knowledge.
This process has shown me that I have a lot to learn. Even navigating through the website is overwhelming with all the information and tutorials available. I hope I am able to keep up!
